Every frog gets the same experience for it, whatever your own level (only your stamina changes it: half again when rested, half when worn out). When several frogs hurt it, they share it by how much damage each did; a party with shared experience on gets 20 % more, and 10 % more again for each different calling in it.

How it fights
When the throat swells you have nearly two seconds: walk more than three tiles off. If it rings with you in reach you stand dazed for over a second while it comes in to hit you. A second toll will not daze you again straight away.
