Bramblehog
Its spines are a living bramble with blackberries. It curls into a thorn ball that hurts whoever hits it.
Prey that bites back, and rolls.
Every frog gets the same experience for it, whatever your own level (only your stamina changes it: half again when rested, half when worn out). When several frogs hurt it, they share it by how much damage each did; a party with shared experience on gets 20 % more, and 10 % more again for each different calling in it.
Where and when
Berry bushes and hedges on the west side of the Kindling Grove, along the West Road and on Harrowfield's lanes.
How it fights
It curls into a thorn ball, rocks, then rolls into you. Its spines prick back: every blow you land costs you a few thorn splinters. It leaves berries behind more often than not.
