Dandelion Hare
Its back and tail are a dandelion seed-clock. When it bolts, the clock blows off in a puff of drifting seeds, and it regrows bald and sheepish.
Harmless prey, and the first thing most frogs chase.
Every frog gets the same experience for it, whatever your own level (only your stamina changes it: half again when rested, half when worn out). When several frogs hurt it, they share it by how much damage each did; a party with shared experience on gets 20 % more, and 10 % more again for each different calling in it.
Where and when
The clearing's tall grass in the Kindling Grove, by day. A few more graze along the West Road and Harrowfield's north bank.
How it fights
It does not start fights. Hit it and it rears up and boxes you with its forepaws, then bolts in a puff of seeds. Watch for the crouch with its ears flat: that is the box coming.
